Biography
From 2006 to 2009, as councillor in the borough of Vieux-Longueuil, he was member of the following: Regional
Planning and Sustainable Development Commission; Arts, Culture and Heritage Commission; Recreation, Sports and
Community Development Commission; Finance and Human Resources Commission, Infrastructures and Traffic Commission,
Environment and Development Commission of the Agglomération de Longueuil; Budget, Finance and Administration
Commission of the Agglomération de Longueuil; Conférence régionale des élus de Longueuil
(CRÉ); board of directors of Développement de l’aéroport Saint-Hubert de Longueuil.
Before being elected councillor for the new city of Longueuil, Gilles Grégoire was a Saint-Lambert councillor
since 1996. During these years, he was chair of the Public Safety Committee, municipal representative on the
Recreation, Culture and Community Life committees, as well as delegate to the Urban Planning Advisory Committee.
Gilles Grégoire is the owner of Grégoire T.V. Enr.,
a family business established in Le Moyne in 1954.
A community volunteer for many years, Gilles Grégoire was
president of the Saint-Lambert Municipal Golf Club for six years
(1992-1998), and member of the Saint-Lambert Richelieu Club for
two years (1998-1999). He is also a member of the Table Vie de Quartier
Le Moyne and of the Knights of Columbus.
